November 7, 2024: GAIL organized a Workshop on the Development of Pipeline Infrastructure (DPI) for connectivity of Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plants to City Gas Distribution (CGD) networks under the guidance of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoP&NG) at IHC, New Delhi. The primary objective of this workshop was to create awareness about the features and promote DPI scheme among the key stakeholders CBG producers, CGD entities, Oil and Gas PSUs, etc.

January 5, 2024: GAIL won the title of "India’s Mega Gas Grid Connectivity INFRACO" and recognized for Pioneering BioGas/BioCNG in the CBG-CGD (City Gas Distribution) Synchronization Scheme at the prestigious 16th ENERTIA Awards 2023 on December 29, 2023, Mumbai. September 9, 2023: : In line with the vision of Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi , #GAIL (India) Limited under the CBG-CGD Synchronization Scheme has co-mingled CBG with Natural Gas in its gas distribution network for transport. This setup is energizing the transport sector by giving it an alternate and sustainable source of energy.
